The Civil Wars - I've got this friend

The Civil Wars es un dúo, formado por Joy Williams y John Paul White, los dos se conocieron durante una sesión en 2008 de composición de canciones en Nashville. Después de grabar un álbum en vivo y un EP con cuatro canciones, llega su álbum de larga duración, Barton Hollow, lanzado en 2011, con el que han ganado el premio Grammy a la Mejor PaísDúo / Grupo Performance y Mejor Álbum de Folk en 2012.

Un disco de fusión folk/country; donde cada una de sus composiciones suenan únicas.
